Academy Of Country Music
The Academy of Country Music (ACM) was founded in 1964 in Los Angeles, California as the Country & Western Music Academy. Among the founders were Eddie Miller, Tommy Wiggins, and Mickey and Chris Christensen. They wanted to promote country music in the western 13 states with the support of artists based on the West Coast. Artists such as Johnny Bond, Glen Campbell, Merle Haggard, Roger Miller and others influenced them. A board of directors was formed to govern the academy in 1965. History and mission The Country Music Academy (Academy of Country Music) was founded in 1964 on the west coast of USA. The Academy sought to promote country/ western music in the western states; this was in contrast to the Country Music Association, based in Nashville, Tennessee (then the center of the pop-oriented Nashville sound). Jon Randall Stewart (born February 17, 1969) is an American producer, songwriter, and musician. His career began as a guitarist for Emmylou Harris' Nash Ramblers with whom he won his first Grammy for their ''Live at the Ryman'' album in 1992. Between 1995 and 2005 Randall released three solo albums, '' What You Don't Know'', '' Willin''' and ''Walking Among the Living''. He recorded a fourth album, '' Cold Coffee Morning'', which was not released. ''What You See Is What You Get'' is the second studio album by American country music singer Luke Combs, released on November 8, 2019, through River House Artists and Columbia Nashville. 55th Academy Of Country Music Awards
The 55th Academy of Country Music Awards were held in Nashville, Tennessee on September 16, 2020. Keith Urban was the host for the show. The event was originally planned to air on April 5 of the same year in Las Vegas, Nevada, but was postponed and relocated due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Brothers Osborne is an American country music duo consisting of brothers T.J. Osborne (lead vocals, rhythm guitar) and John Osborne (lead guitar, background vocals). Ashley McBryde (born July 29, 1983) is an American country music singer–songwriter. Raised in Arkansas, she was drawn to various types of music from a young age.
