Abyss (Unleash The Archers Album)
''Abyss'' is the fifth studio album by Canadian heavy metal band Unleash the Archers, released on 21 August 2020 via Napalm Records. It is a concept album that continues the story introduced in their previous studio effort, ''Apex''. Due to the departure of bassist Nikko Whitworth before the recording sessions, the band recorded the album as an official quartet: studio musician Benjamin Arscott played bass on the album in Whitworth's place. Background, production and writing The band originally planned to release ''Apex'' and ''Abyss'' as a double album, but they were running out of time and decided to release ''Apex'' alone in 2017. During the first half of 2019, they disconnected from everything related to ''Apex'' and searched for new influences. Unleash The Archers
Unleash the Archers is a Canadian power metal band from Victoria, British Columbia, currently signed with Napalm Records. The band plays a fusion of traditional heavy metal with power metal and melodic death metal. History 2007–2015: Formation and indie years Unleash the Archers was formed in late 2007 by vocalist Brittney Hayes (a.k.a. Brittney Slayes) and drummer Scott Buchanan with former member Brayden Dyczkowski on guitar, whom Scott had played with previously in an independent death metal project. Former member Mike Selman was brought on after his departure from Canadian death metal band Meatlocker Seven. Fleshgod Apocalypse
Fleshgod Apocalypse is an Italian symphonic death metal band. Formed in 2007, the group resides in Perugia and are currently signed to Nuclear Blast. They have released five full-length albums. History Formation and ''Oracles'' (2007–2009) Fleshgod Apocalypse was formed in April 2007 by Francesco Paoli (formerly frontman of the band Hour of Penance). They recorded their first demo, ''Promo '07'', at 16th Cellar Studio, in Rome, with producer Stefano "Saul" Morabito, releasing it shortly after. Orchestration is the study or practice of writing music for an orchestra (or, more loosely, for any musical ensemble, such as a concert band) or of adapting music composed for another medium for an orchestra. "Sunglasses at Night" is a song by Canadian singer Corey Hart. It was released on January 21, 1984 as the first single from his debut album, 1983's '' First Offense'', and became a hit single in the United States, officially rising to number 7 on the ''Billboard'' Hot 100 during the week that ended on September 1, 1984. The song combines an unflagging synthesizer hook, characteristic arpeggio, rock guitar and cryptic lyrics. AllMusic has since described it as "an instant classic with its distinctive melody and catchy chorus".
