Mosunmola Abudu, also known as ''Mo Abudu'', (born 11 September 1964), is a Nigerian media mogul, philanthropist, and former human resources management consultant. She has been described by Forbes as "Africa's Most Successful Woman", and rated as one of the "25 Most Powerful Women in Global Television" by The Hollywood Reporter. Biography Early life Mo Abudu was born in Hammersmith, West London. Her father was an engineer and her mother was a caterer. Her family roots are in Ondo Town, southwest Nigeria. Ondo City
Ondo Town is the second largest town in Ondo State, Nigeria. Ondo Town is the trade center for the surrounding region. Yams, cassava, grain and tobacco are grown. Cotton is also grown, and is used to weave cloth called Aso Oke fabric which is widely accepted by the indigenes as the local attaire . Ondo Town is the largest producer of cocoa products in the region. The title of the king of the town, who reigns as a direct descendant of the fabled Emperor Oduduwa, is "Osemawe".
