Abu Taher Md Saifur Rahman
Abu Taher Md. Saifur Rahman is a Judge of the High Court Division of Bangladesh Supreme Court. Early life Rahman was born on 31 December 1966. He has a bachelor's and master's in law from the University of Dhaka. He did another bachelor's in law from the University of Wolverhampton. Career On 19 May 1991, Rahman started working as a lawyer in the district courts and the High Court Division on 12 December 1992. Rahman was appointed an additional judge of the High Court Division on 20 October 2011. Rahman was made a permanent judge of the High Court Division on 7 October 2013. On 7 January 2015, Rahman and Justice Quazi Reza-Ul Hoque issued a ban on the broadcasting of the speeches of Bangladesh Nationalist Party Vice-chairman Tareque Rahman, who is fugitive living in London. The University of Dhaka (also known as Dhaka University, or DU) is a public research university located in Dhaka, Bangladesh. It is the oldest university in Bangladesh. The University of Wolverhampton is a public university located on four campuses across the West Midlands (county), West Midlands, Shropshire and Staffordshire in England. Quazi Reza-Ul Hoque is a judge on the High Court Division of Bangladesh Supreme Court. Early life Hoque was born on 28 November 1958. He did his bachelors and masters in law from the University of Dhaka. He did his second masters of law from the University of Essex. He did an MBA from the American International university and PhD from the Nottingham Trent University. Career Hoque became a lawyer on the district court on 6 October 1985. On 6 April 1989, Hoque became a lawyer of the High Court Division. Hoque was appointed an additional judge of the High Court Division on 18 April 2010. The Information and Communication Technology Act, 2006 is an Act passed by the Jatiya Sangsad in 2006 to encourage and regulate ICT services in Bangladesh. Cybercrimes in Bangladesh are tried under the Information and Communication Technology Act. The act was strengthen through an amendment in 2013. The law was controversial due to parts which were viewed as threatening freedom of speech and its section 57 was replaced with the controversial Digital Security Act. The AKM () is an assault rifle designed by Soviet small arms designer Mikhail Kalashnikov in 1959. It is the most ubiquitous rifle of the Kalashnikov rifles. It was developed as a replacement to the AK-47 introduced a decade prior.
