''Absolute Power'' is the fourth studio album by American rapper Tech N9ne from Kansas City, Missouri, and is officially his first album released on Strange Music. Production was handled by several record producers, including Reuben 'Bonyx' Armstrong, RonnZfromBerlin and 5150 Mental Productions. It features guest appearances from 57th Street Rogue Dog Villains, D12, Krizz Kaliko, Kutt Calhoun, Skatterman & Snug Brim among others. The album peaked at number 79 on the ''Billboard'' 200. The hook for the song ''I'm A Playa'' samples and is inspired by the song ''Rock Me Amadeus "Rock Me Amadeus" is a song recorded by Austrian musician Falco (musician), Falco, for his third studio album, ''Falco 3'' (1985). Aaron Dontez Yates (born November 8, 1971), better known by his stage name Tech N9ne (pronounced "tech nine"), is an American rapper. In 1999, he and business partner Travis O'Guin founded the record label Strange Music. He has sold over two million albums and has had his music featured in film, television, and video games. In 2009, he won the Left Field Woodie award at the mtvU Woodie Awards. His stage name originated from the TEC-9 semi-automatic handgun, a name given to him by rapper Black Walt due to his fast-rhyming chopper style. Yates later applied a deeper meaning to the name, stating that it stands for the complete technique of rhyme, with "tech" meaning technique and "nine" representing the number of completion. Melvin Lewis Calhoun Jr. (born January 1, 1977), better known by his stage name Kutt Calhoun, is an American rapper and business executive from Kansas City, Missouri. After getting his start in the late 1990s underground rap scene of Kansas City, he subsequently signed to Strange Music when the label was founded in 1999. Calhoun released his debut album '' B.L.E.V.E.'' in 2004, and his 2007 sophomore album ''Feature Presentation'' debuted at number 60 on the ''Billboard'' Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. Rufus Arthur Johnson (born July 5, 1976), better known by his stage name Bizarre, is an American rapper, best known for his work with the Detroit-based hip hop group D12. Early life Bizarre was born Rufus Arthur Johnson on July 5, 1976 in Detroit, Michigan. Bizarre grew up living with his single mother. He started rapping when he was in fifth grade. Stacy Landis, better known by his stage name Skatterman (pronounced Scātterman), is an American rapper from Kansas City, Missouri. Biography Starting as a teen, the syllable spitter knocked out hits with different groups, starting with Southside Rollers in 1999.
