''About Scout'' (originally titled ''Scout'') is a 2015 American comedy-drama film directed and written by Laurie Weltz. The film stars India Ennenga, James Frecheville, Nikki Reed, Danny Glover and Ellen Burstyn. The film had its world premiere at the Newport Beach Film Festival on April 25, 2015. It was scheduled to be released on March 11, 2016, in a limited release and through video on demand by Breaking Glass Pictures and Reel Red Films. Premise A 15-year-old girl named Scout (India Ennenga), travels with a suicidal man Sam (James Frecheville), to find her young little sister Lulu (Onata Aprile) whilst avoiding Child Services (Danny Glover). India Ennenga (born November 16, 1994) is an American actress. She is known for her roles as Sofia Bernette in the HBO series '' Treme'', Camille Winship in the A&E drama '' The Returned'' and the voice of the titlular character in the Nick Jr. animated series ''Pinky Dinky Doo''. James Aitken Frecheville (; born 14 April 1991) is an Australian actor known for his lead role in the Australian film '' Animal Kingdom'' as Joshua "J" Cody, a confused teenager and youngest member of a criminal family in Melbourne's underworld.
