''About a Burning Fire'' is the fourth album by post-hardcore band Blindside. It was released on February 24, 2004 through Elektra and 3 Points Records. The album is notable for featuring The Smashing Pumpkins' Billy Corgan on the track "Hooray, It's L.A." "All of Us" became the album's lead single. Its music video features a young man chasing after a woman through a dead, leafless forest. In his desperation, the man's arms begin to stretch out to her in a feat similar to Mr. Fantastic's. The video aired considerably on Fuse TV. Blindside (band)
Blindside is a Swedish rock band from the southern suburbs of Stockholm. They formed in Stockholm in 1994 as Underfree. In 1996, they changed their name to Blindside and released the ''Blindside'' album in 1997 through Swedish independent record company Day-Glo Records. Another album, '' A Thought Crushed My Mind'', came out in 2000. The group received greater attention in 2001 when they toured with P.O.D., resulting in a contract with Elektra. In 2002 they released the album ''Silence'' and in 2003 they toured in support of Hoobastank. A 2004 headlining tour suffered equipment theft but then Blindside released ''About a Burning Fire''. Losing support from their label, the next year Blindside released ''The Great Depression'' independently, and they put out the DVD ''Ten Years Running Blind''. Emma Härdelin (born 26 September 1975) is a Swedish musician. She is a violinist and lead singer in folk-rock band Garmarna,Dupont, Linn.Tystnaden gav Garmarna ett nytt sound (in Swedish), Helsingborgs Dagblad, November 27, 2017. which she joined in 1993 for their first album, and also lead singer for the folk band Triakel. Härdelin was born into a family of nationally acclaimed musicians as the daughter of Swedish traditional fiddler Thore Härdelin. She grew up in Kluk, Jämtland, and Delsbo, Hälsingland. After attending a Waldorf school and studying Swedish folk singing under Maria Röjås at Malung folkhögskola, she became a member of Garmarna in 1993 and founded Triakel in 1995 together with Kjell-Erik Eriksson of Hoven Droven and Janne Strömstedt. Electric Guitar
