The Abomination (Emil Blonsky) is a character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Created by writer Stan Lee and artist Gil Kane, the character first appeared in ''Tales to Astonish'' #90 (April 1967). ''The Incredible Hulk'' is an ongoing comic book series featuring the Marvel Comics superhero the Hulk and his alter ego Bruce Banner. First published in May 1962, the series ran for six issues before it was canceled in March 1963, and the Hulk character began appearing in ''Tales to Astonish''.
