The Salta Open, or the Abierto de Salta, was a golf tournament on the TPG Tour, the official professional golf tour in Argentina. Played from 2004 to 2008, it was always held at the Salta Golf & Polo Club, in Salta, Salta Province Salta () is a province of Argentina, located in the northwest of the country. Golf
Golf is a club-and-ball sport in which players use various clubs to hit balls into a series of holes on a course in as few strokes as possible. Golf, unlike most ball games, cannot and does not use a standardized playing area, and coping with the varied terrains encountered on different courses is a key part of the game.
