Abdulrahman Bashir (born 15 January 1991) is a Nigerian footballer who plays as a forward for Nigeria Professional Football League club Plateau United Personal life Bashir is a native of Kwara State. He idolises Wayne Rooney and likes listening to music and watching movies in his spare time. Club career Domestic competitions Bashir began his professional career at ABS after graduating from the Ilorin club's Academy. In 2012, Bashir—an ABS player at the time—went for trials at Sporting Charleroi. He impressed during the trials and scored in an exhibition game against FC Charleroi, but returned to ABS soon after the trials following ABS's rejection of a loan deal offered by the Belgian club. The 2019 Nigeria Professional Football League was the 29th season of the Nigeria Professional Football League, the top-tier football league in Nigeria, since the rebranding of the league as the "Professional League", and the 48th season of top-division football in Nigeria since its establishment in 1972. The 2015 Nigeria Professional Football League (referred to as the Nigerian Glo premier league for sponsorship reasons) is the 44th season of the Nigeria Premier League, the top Nigerian professional league for association football clubs, since its establishment in 1972, and the 25th since the rebranding of the league as the "Professional League". Enyimba won their seventh league title and first since the 2009–10 season. They clinched with a week to go in the season with a scoreless draw with Warri Wolves, who were six points behind. Warri Wolves finished in second place, four points behind Enyimba, and both will represent Nigeria in the 2016 CAF Champions League. The qualifying rounds of the 2014 CAF Champions League were played from 7 February to 30 March 2014, to decide the eight teams which advanced to the group stage. Draw The draw for the preliminary, first and second qualifying rounds was held on 16 December 2013 in Marrakech, Morocco. The entry round of each team was determined by their ranking points calculated based on performances in continental club championships for the period 2009–2013.
