Abdulla Yaameen (born 30 December 2000), is a Maldivian footballer who plays as a midfielder for Club Green Streets. Club career Green Streets On 25 February 2017, he made his debut in the Malé League match against Victory Sports Club at the final eight minutes of a 1–0 victory. Ali Ashfaq (; born 6 September 1985) is a Maldivian professional footballer who plays as a forward and captains the Maldives national team. Nicknamed "Man of Steel" (), he is regarded as one of the best players in the South Asian region. A prolific and individualistic goalscorer, he is a free-kick specialist and a clinical finisher. His trademark style of scoring is beating the defenders and rounding off the keeper to score. He is considered as the best Maldivian footballer ever, most notably when he was named as the "World's 2nd best top goal scorer" in 2013 by IFFHS. Ali Fasir ( dv, ޢަލީ ފާސިރު; born 4 September 1988) nicknamed "Sentey", is a Maldivian footballer who plays as a winger or striker for Club Valencia, which he captains, and the Maldives national team. Fasir began his career at Club Eagles after being spotted by the club during their training camps. He played one season with the club and spent a year without a club until he was offered from Club All Youth Linkage. He played a major role to promote his side from second division to Dhivehi League. Fasir had an impressive Dhivehi League debut season and then signed for the most successful Dhivehi League team Club Valencia for the following season. 2017 Malé League
The 2017 Malé League is the seventh season of the Malé League, the top division of Maldivian football under the latest update of the Maldivian football league system. The league was made up of the 8 clubs. Format All eight teams play against each other in Two Round Format. Team with most total points at the end of the season will be crowned as Malé League champion and qualified to the AFC Cup. Top four teams qualify for the Dhivehi Premier League and the President's Cup. Bottom four teams play the Malé League qualification with the champion and the runner-up of Second Division.
