Abdulhadi Khalaf ( ar, عبد الهادي خلف, born 1945) is a Bahraini leftist political activist and senior lecturer in the Sociology department at Lund University. He is regarded as a specialist in the politics of the Persian Gulf region. Biography He received his primary and secondary education in Bahrain, then went abroad for college. He obtained a doctorate in sociology from Sweden's University of Lund in 1972. Returning to Bahrain, he became a candidate for the country's first National Assembly (Bahrain), National Assembly and was elected in December 1973. The assembly was an advisory body with limited powers to approve laws drawn up by the government. Awni Abd al-Hadi, ( ar, عوني عبد الهادي) aka Auni Bey Abdel Hadi (1889, Nablus, Ottoman Empire – 15 March 1970, Cairo, Egypt) was a Palestinians, Palestinian political figure. He was educated in Beirut, Istanbul, and at the Sorbonne University in Paris. His wife was Tarab Abdul Hadi, Tarab Abd al-Hadi, a Palestinian activist and feminist. Abd al-Hadi al-Fadli (December 6, 1935 – April 8, 2013) was an Islamic author and thinker. Life Born near Basra, Iraq, he had a seminary education and also received a doctorate from the University of Cairo. He was a student of Ayatollah Baqir al-Sadr and Ayatollah Khoei. Grand Ayatollah Mirza Abd al-Hadi al-Husayni al-Shirazi (; fa, ; 1882 – July 13, 1962) was an Iraqi-Iranian Shia marja' and poet.
