Abdulelah Al-Amri
Abdulelah Ali Awadh Al-Amri ( ar, عبد الإله علي عوض العمري; born 15 January 1997) is a Saudi Arabian professional footballer who plays as a centre back for Saudi Pro League club Al Nassr and the Saudi Arabia national team. Club career Al-Amri progressed through Al-Nassr's youth system. He signed his first professional contract with the club on 27 November 2017. On 14 December 2017, Al-Amri made his debut in a 1–1 draw against Al-Faisaly. On 27 May 2018, Al-Amri was loaned to Al-Wehda for the 2018–19 season. Following his return from loan, Al-Amri was mainly used as a fourth-choice center-back. However, during the latter half of the 2019–20 season, Al-Amri managed to establish himself as a starter. Al Nassr Football Club ( ar, نادي النصر السعودي; '' Naṣr'' meaning ''Victory'') is a Saudi Arabian football club based in Riyadh. Formed in 1955, the club plays its home games at the Mrsool Park. 2019 AFC Asian Cup
The 2019 AFC Asian Cup was the 17th edition of the AFC Asian Cup, the quadrennial international men's football championship of Asia organised by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC). It was held in the United Arab Emirates from 5 January to 1 February 2019. For the first time, the Asian Cup final tournament was contested by 24 teams, having been expanded from the 16-team format that was used from 2004 to 2015. Under this new format, the finalists would contest a group stage consisting of six groups of four teams, followed by a knockout stage of 16 teams. King Saud University Stadium, also known as Mrsool Park due to sponsorship reasons, is a football stadium located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In September 2020, Saudi Media Company obtained the management rights for operating the stadium. In October 2020, SMC signed a deal with Al Nassr FC for the Mrsool Park to become their home. The Saudi Super Cup ( ar, كأس السوبر السعودي) is an annual super cup football match organised by the Saudi Arabian Football Federation. Founded in 2013 as a two-team competition, the current version has been contested since 2022–23 by four teams: the winners and runners-up of the King Cup and Pro League. The competition was held the week before the season begins in Saudi Arabia from 2013 until 2018. Since the 2019 edition it has been held mid-season. 2017–18 Saudi Professional League
The 2017–18 Saudi Professional League (also known formerly as a Jameel League for sponsorship reasons), was the 42nd season of the Saudi Professional League, the top Saudi professional league for association football clubs, since its establishment in 1976. The season started on 10 August 2017 and concluded on 12 April 2018. Al-Hilal were the defending champions after winning the Pro League last season for the 14th time. Al-Fayha and Ohod have entered as the promoted teams from the 2016–17 Saudi First Division.
