Abdulali Ali-Asgari
Abdulali Ali-Asgari ( fa, عبدالعلی علی‌عسگری; born 1958 in Ray, Tehran, Iran) is the current CEO of Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Corporation.He is also an Iranian media executive who was the former director-general of IRIB. Ali-Asgari, who was previously a deputy at IRIB in charge of technology and a professor at the Iran Broadcasting University, was appointed as IRIB's director-general on 11 May 2016 after previous head Mohammad Sarafraz resigned from office. He has been referred to as "the father of digital television in Iran" for his work on converting the organization from analog to digital. He is uncle of Hamidreza Aliasgari. Hamidreza Aliasgari
Hamidreza Aliasgari ( fa, حمیدرضا علی‌عسگری, born 25 May 1990) is an Iranian football midfielder. His uncle is Abdulali Ali-Asgari. In 2022, Aliasgari was arrested during the Mahsa Amini protests by the Islamic Republic of Iran and was taken to a detention center. He was later released on bail. Club career Persepolis (first period) 2007–2008 He made his debut for Persepolis when he got subbed into the Hazfi Cup in the 2007–08 season. Sayyid Ezzatollah Zarghami ( fa, سید عزت‌الله ضرغامی) is Iranian conservative politician and current minister of Ministry of Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism. He is a former military officer.
