Abdul Shakoor (cricketer)
Abdul Shakoor (born 21 March 1988) is a cricketer who played for the United Arab Emirates national cricket team. He made his Twenty20 International debut against Scotland in the 2015 ICC World Twenty20 Qualifier tournament on 9 July 2015. He made his One Day International debut against Hong Kong in the 2015–17 ICC World Cricket League Championship on 16 November 2015. In August 2018, he was named in the United Arab Emirates' squad for the 2018 Asia Cup Qualifier tournament. He played for the Maratha Arabians in the opening game of the 2021 T10 League in Abu Dhabi, winning the power hitter and player of the match awards. He opened the batting and top scored with 73 runs from 28 balls, his first fifty runs coming from only 14 balls. Abdul Shakoor was born and raised in Sharjah. 2018 Asia Cup Qualifier
The 2018 Asia Cup Qualifier was a cricket tournament that was held in Malaysia from 29 August to 6 September 2018. The event served as the qualifier for the 2018 Asia Cup. The top two teams from the group stage met in the final, with the winner progressing to the 2018 Asia Cup. The fixture between the United Arab Emirates and Nepal on 30 August 2018 was a One Day International (ODI) match. It was the first time both sides had played each other in an ODI match, with the UAE going on to win the fixture by 78 runs. The United Arab Emirates finished top of the group stage with eight points. They were joined in the final by Hong Kong, who finished second with seven points, and a better net run rate than Oman, who also finished with seven points. Sharjah Electricity, Water and Gas Authority, also popularly known as SEWA, is a government utility in the Emirate of Sharjah which provides electricity, water and natural gas to approximately 300,000 consumers. It owns a bottled drinking water subsidiary named Zulal. Since 2020, Saeed Sultan Al Suwaidi has served as chairman. History SEWA was a private company before the United Arab Emirates was formed in 1971. It was then called Sharjah Electricity & Water Resources Company. It later became part of the Sharjah government, and named the Electricity and Water Department. 2021 Abu Dhabi T10 was the fourth season of the Abu Dhabi T10. The matches had a 10-over-a-side format with a time duration of 90 minutes.
