Abdul Majid Khan (detainee)
On January 15, 2010, the US Department of Defense complied with a court order and published a list of Captives held in the Bagram Theater Internment Facility that included the name Hajj Abdul Majid Khan. According to historian Andy Worthington, author of ''The Guantanamo Files'', he is alleged to be an improvised explosive device facilitator captured in Qalat district, Zabul Province Zabul (Pashto/Dari: ) is one of the 34 provinces of Afghanistan, located in the south of the country. Bagram (; Pashto/ fa, بگرام) is a town and seat in Bagram District in Parwan Province of Afghanistan, about 60 kilometers north of the capital Kabul. Majid Khan (detainee)
Majid Shoukat Khan (born 28 February 1980) is a Pakistani detainee who is the only known legal resident of the United States held in the Guantanamo Bay Detainment Camp. He was detained after returning to his native Pakistan to visit his wife and was captured by Pakistani authorities, who handed him over to the CIA. In 2012, Khan pled guilty to conspiracy and the murder of 11 innocent civilians in the 2003 Marriott Hotel bombing in Jakarta, Indonesia, and for the attempted assassination of Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf.
