Abdul Karim Saeed Pasha
Abdul Karim Saeed Pasha (born 28 February 1945 in British India) is the fifth and current Emir of the Lahore Ahmadiyya Movement. In May 2007, he participated a conference in the Berlin Mosque, organized by the German and Dutch section of Ahmadiyya Anjuman. Emir (; ar, أمير ' ), sometimes transliterated amir, amier, or ameer, is a word of Arabic origin that can refer to a male monarch, aristocrat, holder of high-ranking military or political office, or other person possessing actual or ceremonial authority. The title has a long history of use in the Arab World, East Africa, West Africa, Central Asia, and the Indian subcontinent. Lahore Ahmadiyya Movement
The Lahore Ahmadiyya Movement for the Propagation of Islam, ( ur, , translit=Aḥmadiyyah Anjuman-i Ishāʿat-i Islām Lahore) is a separatist group within the Ahmadiyya movement that formed in 1914 as a result of ideological and administrative differences following the demise of Hakim Nur-ud-Din, the first Caliph after Mirza Ghulam Ahmad. Members of the Lahore Ahmadiyya movement are referred to by the majority group as ''ghayr mubāyi'īn'' ("non-initiates"; "those outside of allegiance" to the caliph) and are also known colloquially as Lahori Ahmadis. Ahmadiyya Mosque Berlin
Berlin Mosque (german: Berliner Moschee, , ) in Berlin is situated on Brienner Straße 7-8 in Berlin-Wilmersdorf. It was designed by Hermann and was built between 1923 and 1925. Berlin Mosque, which has two minarets, was heavily damaged in World War II. The two minarets were rebuilt in 1999/2001. The foundation stone was laid on 6 August 1923 and the mosque was inaugurated officially on 26 April 1925. The style of the space is built in Mughal Architectural style, reflecting the great buildings of that time with signature stylings. One such styling is the architects use of onion dome and pastel colors. This makes the building very similar to the tombs of the Mughal Empire. Not only that, but the symmetry seen in the building reflects that of the Taj Mahal. Next to the mosque is the residence of the Imam, the religious head of the mosque. Mansehra
Mansehra is a city in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan and the headquarters of Mansehra District. It is the 71st largest city of Pakistan and 7th largest city in the province. North-West Frontier Province
The North-West Frontier Province (NWFP; ps, شمال لویدیځ سرحدي ولایت, ) was a Chief Commissioner's Province of British India, established on 9 November 1901 from the north-western districts of the Punjab Province. Following the referendum in 1947 to join either Pakistan or India, the province voted hugely in favour of joining Pakistan and it acceded accordingly on 14th August, 1947. Pakistani Ahmadis
Ahmadiyya in Pakistan are members of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community. The number of Ahmadiyya in the country has been variously estimated to between 0.22% and 2.2% of Pakistan's population. The 1998 Pakistani census states that there are 291,000 (0.22%) Ahmadis in Pakistan. However, the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community has boycotted the census since 1974 which renders official Pakistani figures to be inaccurate. Independent groups have estimated the Pakistani Ahmadiyya population to be somewhere between 2 million and 5 million Ahmadis. However, the 4 million figure is the most quoted figure and is approximately 2.2% of the country.
