Rawalpindi ( or ; Urdu, ) is a city in the Punjab province of Pakistan. Northern Cricket Team
Northern cricket team is a domestic cricket team in Pakistan representing Islamabad Capital Territory, Gilgit-Baltistan and Azad Jammu & Kashmir. It competes in domestic first-class, List A and T20 cricket competitions, namely the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy, Pakistan Cup and National T20 Cup. The team is operated by the Northern Cricket Association. Rawalpindi was a first-class cricket side that competed in domestic competitions in Pakistan. Rawalpindi's List A and Twenty20 sides were known as the Rawalpindi Rams. 2021–22 Quaid-e-Azam Trophy
The 2021–22 Quaid-e-Azam Trophy was a first-class domestic cricket competition that took place in Pakistan from 20 October to 29 December 2021. In September 2021, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) confirmed the fixtures for the tournament, with the full schedule being announced the following month. Central Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa were the defending champions, after the final of the previous tournament finished in a tie. All of the matches played in the first three rounds of the tournament finished as draws. On 7 November 2021, the PCB announced that fourth round match between Central Punjab and Sindh would be played with the pink ball, along with the final of the tournament. The 2022 ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup was an international limited-overs cricket tournament that was held in the West Indies in January and February 2022 with sixteen teams taking part.
