Abdul Aziz Ibn Ayyaf Al-Miqrin
Prince Abdulaziz bin Mohammed bin Ayyaf Al Muqrin or Al-Migrin ( ar, عبد العزيز بن محمد بن عياف آل مقرن; born 1958) is a Saudi Arabian architect, philanthropist, politician and a member of the Muqrin clan, from which the ruling family is branched who was the fifth mayor of Riyadh from 1997 till 24 June 2012. He currently serves as the chairman of the board of trustees at Prince Sultan University and King Salman Center for Local Governance and as the vice chairman of the board of directors of the Riyadh Science Foundation. Fahd bin Abdulaziz Al Saud ( ar, فهد بن عبد العزيز آل سعود ''Fahd ibn ʿAbd al ʿAzīz Āl Suʿūd'', ; 1920, 1921 or 1923 – 1 August 2005) was a Saudi Arabian politician who was King and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia from 13 June 1982 until his death in 2005. Prior to his ascension, he was Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia from 25 March 1975 to 13 June 1982. He was the eighth son of King Abdulaziz, the founder of modern Saudi Arabia. Fahd was the eldest of the Sudairi Seven, the sons of King Abdulaziz by Hassa bint Ahmed Al Sudairi. He served as minister of education from 1953 to 1962 during the reign of King Saud. Afterwards he was minister of interior from 1962 to 1975, at the end of King Saud's reign and throughout King Faisal's reign. The Order of King Abdulaziz is a Saudi Arabian order of merit. The order was named after Abdulaziz Al Saud, founder of the modern Saudi state. History In 1971, the introduction of orders was announced in a decree. It was instituted by King Faisal on 20 March 1971. However, the order had been awarded before that date unsystematically.
