Abdul Aziz Shamsuddin
Abdul Aziz bin Shamsuddin ( ms, عبدالعزيز بن شمس الدين, label= Jawi, script=arab, italic=unset; 10 June 1938 – 16 October 2020) was a Malaysian politician who served as Minister of Rural and Regional Development from 2004 to 2008. Career Since 1981, he had been Dr. Mahathir's political secretary. He was appointed a Senator by Mahathir Mohamad in 1999. He was one of the men named by former Deputy Prime Minister of Malaysia, Anwar Ibrahim, as part of an alleged conspiracy to oust him. He served as Minister of Rural and Regional Development from 27 March 2004 to 18 March 2008. Death Abdul Aziz Shamsuddin died on 16 October 2020 at 11.52 pm. He was 82 years old. Muhammad bin Muhammad Taib ( Jawi: محمد بن محمد طيب; born 29 July 1945), also fondly known as Mat Taib and also Mat Tyson, is a Malaysian politician who currently is a member of United Malays National Organisation (UMNO), a major component of Barisan Nasional (BN) coalition. He was the former Menteri Besar of Selangor and the former Rural and Regional Development Minister. Muhammad was also the former UMNO vice-president. Gopeng
Gopeng is a town located in Mukim Teja, Kampar District, Perak, Malaysia. It is situated approximately south of Ipoh, the state capital. History Gopeng was the most important town in the Kinta Valley until 1890, when Ipoh became more prominent. Gopeng was intensively mined by both European and Chinese miners, the latter having significant Hakka representation under Chung Keng Kwee, the leader of the Hai San secret society during the Larut War. He was appointed as the Kapitan Cina after the Pangkor Treaty, and although his main homes were in Taiping and Penang, he maintained his foothold in Gopeng, securing contracts for street lighting there in 1892 as well as building quarters for civil servants thereafter. The National Front ( ms, Barisan Nasional; abbrev: BN) is a political coalition of Malaysia that was founded in 1973 as a coalition of centre-right and right-wing political parties. Dato' Sri Mohd Zin bin Mohamed ( Jawi: محمد زين بن محمد; born 28 March 1953) was the Member of the Parliament of Malaysia for the Sepang constituency in Selangor from 2004 to 2013. 2004 Malaysian General Election
A general election was held on Sunday, 21 March 2004 for members of the 11th Parliament of Malaysia. Voting took place in all 219 parliamentary constituencies of Malaysia, each electing one Member of Parliament to the Dewan Rakyat, the dominant house of Parliament. This is first election for Abdullah as Prime Minister since appointed for this position in 2003. State elections also took place in 505 state constituencies in 12 out of 13 states of Malaysia (except Sarawak) on the same day as Sabah took the first time election was parallel with the rest of Peninsular Malaysia.
