Abdul Ahad Azad
Abdul Ahad Azad (1903 – 1948) was a Kashmiri poet born in village ranger tehsil Chadoora of Budgam district. He is often referred to as the "Keats of Kashmir". Kashmir

Budgam District
Budgam district is a district in the Indian-administered union territory of Jammu and Kashmir. Created in 1979 with its headquarters at Budgam, it is the district with the largest population of Shias in the Kashmir valley. Administration Budgam district is the closest district to the union territory capital Srinagar (11 km). Budgam district came into existence in 1979, prior to which it was part of Srinagar district. In former times, Budgam was a part of Baramulla district, when Srinagar itself was a constituent of the Anantnag district. It was then known as tehsil Pratap Singh of Jammu and Kashmir, Sri Pratap. Ghazal
The ''ghazal'' ( ar, غَزَل, bn, গজল, Hindi-Urdu: /, fa, غزل, az, qəzəl, tr, gazel, tm, gazal, uz, gʻazal, gu, ગઝલ) is a form of amatory poem or ode, originating in Arabic poetry. A ghazal may be understood as a poetic expression of both the pain of loss or separation and the beauty of love in spite of that pain. The ghazal form is ancient, tracing its origins to 7th-century Arabic poetry. The ghazal spread into South Asia in the 12th century due to the influence of Sufi mystics and the courts of the new Islamic Sultanate, and is now most prominently a form of poetry of many languages of the Indian subcontinent and Turkey. Rasul Mir
Rasul Mir (Kashmiri: ) also known as Rasul Mir Shahabadi, was a romantic poet of Kashmir in the 19th century. He was born at Doru Shahabad, a historic town in Anantnag district of Kashmir. He is often referred to as '''imām-e-ishqiya shairi (The epitome of romantic poetry) for his literary contribution to Kashmiri romanticism. Mir was said to have been alive in around 1855 when Mahmood Gami and Soch Kral saeb died. He died a few years before Maqbool Shah Kralawari. Though, Muhammad Y. Mahmud Gami
Mahmud Gami (1765–1855) was a nineteenth-century Kashmiri poet from Doru Shahabad, Anantnag Kashmir. Through his poetic compositions he is well known to introduce Persian forms of Masnavi and ghazal, to the Kashmiri language. One website calls him the founding figure of Urdu ghazal in Kashmir.
