Abd al-Aziz ( ar, عبد العزيز, DMG: ''ʽAbd al-ʽAzīz''), frequently also transliterated Abdul-Aziz, is a male Arabic Muslim given name and, in modern usage, surname. It is built from the words '' ʽAbd'', the Arabic definite article and '' ʽAzīz'' "Almighty". The name is commonly abbreviated as "ʽAzīz". Mahmoud Mohamed Ahmed Bahaziq (17 August 1943, Hyderabad) is an Indian- Saudi jihadist. He became known by his ''nom de guerre'' Abu 'Abd al-'Aziz after leading one of Bosnia's early mujahideen groups. Bahaziq is subject to United Nations Security Council sanctions for funding Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) since the 2008 Mumbai attacks. King Abdul Aziz Mosque or Marbella Mosque ( es, Mezquita del rey Abdelaziz, Mezquita de Marbella) is an Islamic place of worship located in Marbella, Province of Málaga, Andalusia, Spain. It is financed by Saudi Arabia, and is named after their first monarch. It was built in 1981 and is one of the first Spanish mosques built in the modern time. Along with the Fuengirola Mosque and Malaga Mosque, the Marbella Mosque was financed with money from Saudi Arabia, and is therefore a part of the Salafi school of thought, a movement dominant in Saudi Arabia. The King Abdulaziz Naval Base (Arabic: قاعدة الملك عبد العزيز البحرية) (KANB) is a naval base in Al-Sharqiyah, Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia. It is operated by the Saudi Arabian Navy. The base is located about southeast of Jubail and only from the shores of the Persian Gulf. It is home to the Eastern Fleet and the Royal Naval Academy.
