Abdel Rahman Magdy Sobhi Mohamed ( ar, عبد الرحمن مجدي صبحي محمد; born 12 September 1997), is an Egyptian footballer who plays for Egyptian Premier League side Ismaily and the Egyptian national team as a winger. International He made his debut for the Egypt national football team on 23 March 2019 in an Africa Cup qualifier against Niger, as a 68th-minute substitute for Amar Hamdy. 2019 Africa U-23 Cup Of Nations
The 2019 Africa U-23 Cup of Nations was the third edition of the Africa U-23 Cup of Nations, the quadrennial international age-restricted football championship organised by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) for the men's under-23 national teams of Africa. It was hosted by Egypt between 8 and 22 November 2019. The tournament was initially scheduled to take place in Zambia, but they withdrew from hosting in July 2017. Egypt was announced as the new host nation of the tournament by CAF on 23 September 2017. Same as previous editions, the tournament served as African qualifying for the Olympic football tournament, with the top three teams of the tournament qualifying for the 2020 Summer Olympic men's football tournament in Japan. The Total Africa U-23 Cup of Nations (known as the CAF U-23 Championship until 2015) is the main international football competition for CAF nations, played by under 23 years old players. It is held every four years with the top three teams qualifying to the Olympic Games. History The tournament was founded in 2011. On 6 August 2015, the CAF Executive Committee decided to change the name of the tournament from the CAF U-23 Championship to the Africa U-23 Cup of Nations, similar to the senior's version, Africa Cup of Nations.
