Fraser Valley Mariners is a Canadian soccer team based in Abbotsford, British Columbia, Canada. Founded in 2003, the team plays in the USL Premier Development League (PDL), the fourth tier of the American Soccer Pyramid, in the Northwest Division of the Western Conference. The team plays its home games at Bateman Park, where they have played since 2004. The team's colors are black, white, and red. Until 2007 the team was known as the Abbotsford Rangers, but changed their name prior to the 2008 season to reflect the name of their parent organization. Hamilton Academical Football Club, often known as Hamilton Accies, or The Accies, is a Scottish association football, football club from Hamilton, South Lanarkshire, Hamilton, South Lanarkshire who currently compete in the Scottish Championship, having been relegated from the 2020–21 Scottish Premiership. They were established in 1874 from the school football team at Hamilton Academy and remain the only professional club in British football to have originated from a school team. Shaun Lowther
Shaun Lowther (born 24 January 1962) is a former professional soccer player who played as a defender spending five seasons in the North American Soccer League. Born in England, he made 14 appearances for the Canada national team. He is an executive of a youth soccer club in Airdrie, Alberta. Club career Lowther moved to Canada at age 16. In 1980, he signed with the Vancouver Whitecaps of the North American Soccer League, playing five seasons with them. In September 1980 Lowther, along with three Canadian teammates signed for University College Dublin A.F.C. on scholarships sponsored by Vancouver. They were released in February 1982. Billy Davies
William McIntosh Davies (born 31 May 1964) is a Scottish former professional footballer and manager. He won the 2007 Play-offs with Derby County, finished as runners-up in 2005 with Preston North End, and reached the semi-finals in 2006 (Preston), 2010 and 2011 (both with Nottingham Forest). Sean Crocker (born August 31, 1996) is an American professional golfer who plays on the European Tour. Early life and amateur career Crocker was born in Harare, Zimbabwe. His father, Gary, was a test cricketer, who played for Zimbabwe from 1992 to 1993. They moved from Zimbabwe to California when Crocker was five due to political issues. He played collegiate golf for the University of Southern California, after transitioning from baseball to golf at the age of thirteen. Sound FC is an American soccer team based in Tacoma, Washington. Founded in 2006, the team most recently played in USL League Two, the fourth tier of the American Soccer Pyramid. History 2006–2009: Playoffs The Tacoma team was introduced into the league at very short notice in 2006, when it was announced that the now-defunct Spokane Shadow franchise was suspending operations for the season.
