Abbayigaru
''Abbayigaru'' is a 1993 Indian Telugu-language comedy drama film, produced by M. Narasimha Rao under Raasi Movies and directed by E. V. V. Satyanarayana. It stars Venkatesh and Meena, with music composed by M. M. Keeravani. The film recorded as a ''Super Hit'' at the box office. The movie is a remake of the 1987 Tamil movie ''Enga Chinna Rasa'', whose story was inspired by the Kannada novel ''Ardhaangi'' by B. Puttaswamayya, which incidentally went on to be adapted into a 1969 Kannada movie '' Mallammana Pavaada''. The film was dubbed in Tamil as ''Chinna Yejaman''. Jandhyala Subrahmanya Sastry (14 January 1951 – 19 June 2001), known mononymously by his surname Jandhyala, was an Indian film director, screenwriter, playwright, and actor known for his works in Telugu cinema and Telugu theatre. Veturi Sundararama Murthy (29 January 1936 – 22 May 2010), known mononymously by his surname Veturi, was an Indian poet, lyricist and journalist who is popular for writing Telugu songs. His career in the Telugu cinema spanned more than four decades. He was highly admired and cherished for his deep and thoughtful lyrics in Telugu songs.
