Dr. Abayomi Ajayi (born March 16, 1961) is a Nigerian obstetrician/gynecologist. Early life and education Ajayi was born in Lagos, Nigeria and lost his parents at a very tender age. He attended CMS Grammar School, Lagos from 1973 to 1978, and then graduated from the College of Medicine, University of Lagos in 1984. He completed his postgraduate training at the University College Hospital, Ibadan in 1994 with the fellowship of the West African College of Surgeons in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Abayomi Adebayo Barber (23 October 1928 - 26 December 2021) was a Nigerian contemporary artist who was the mentor of the Abayomi Barber Art School in Lagos, Nigeria. He is an important modern art figure in Nigeria but less well known in the Western World. He is best known for the application of naturalism and surrealism methods in his art works. Abayomi Rotimi Mighty (born March 29, 1985) is Nigeria youth ambassador to the United Nations. Abayomi Gabriel Olonisakin (born 2 December 1961) is a retired Nigerian army general, former Chief of Defence Staff, and current Nigerian Ambassador to the Republic of Cameroon. He was appointed to the position of Chief of Defense Staff on 13 July 2015 by President Muhammadu Buhari. He resigned from office on 26 January 2021. Oloye Sir Kofoworola Adekunle "Kofo" Abayomi (10 July 1896 – 1 January 1979) was a Nigerian ophthalmologist and politician. He was one of the founders of the nationalist Nigerian Youth Movement in 1934 and went on to have a distinguished public service career. His last major public assignment was as chairman of the Lagos Executive Development Board from 1958 until 1966. Early years Abayomi was born on 10 July 1896 in Lagos of Egbe-Yoruba origin. Iyaloye Oyinkansola "Oyinkan" Abayomi, Lady Abayomi (6 March 1897 – 19 March 1990) was a Nigerian nationalist and feminist.
