Abass Akande Obesere
Abass Akande Obesere (born January 20, 1965) also known by his stage name Omo Rapala, is a Nigerian artist, Singer and record producer who is a native of Ibadan, the largest city in Western Nigeria. A popular Fuji music, Fuji musician, Obesere forced his way into the limelight through his unusual music style and slangs usage that throws his fans into a frenzy. Following the paths of other successful musicians such as Sikiru Ayinde Barrister, Obesere also has taken his own brand of Fuji music all over the world. He was initially signed with Sony Music but moved onto other labels after payment disputes. For most of his musical career, he had a long-time rivalry with K1 De Ultimate who is also a popular Fuji musician. Abbassia ( ar, العباسية  ) is a neighbourhood in Cairo, Egypt. The Saint Mark's Coptic Orthodox Cathedral, Cairo is located in Abbassia. The medical faculty of Ain Shams University and its affiliate hospital units are located in Abbassia. The Abbassia metro station is located here, as well. History The modern district of Abbassia is named after Abbas Helmy Pasha and was built upon an older Coptic village called p-Sovt em-p-Hoi ( "the wall of the moat") or later Shats ( "the moat") which is a calque on the latter Arabic al-Khandaq ( "the moat"). In 1865 an observatory, principally for meteorological work, was founded at Abbassia, by the Khedive Isma'il Pasha, and maintained continuously there for nearly forty years. The Abaasy (Abaahy or Abasy, sah, Aбаасы, ''Abaası'' baːsɯ Dolgan: Абааһы, ''Abaahı''; bg, Абааси, ''Abaasi''; russian: Абасы, ''Abasy''; cognate of the Turkic word ''Abası'') are demons in the mythology of the Sakha (also known as the Yakuts).
