Ab Tum Ja Saktey Ho
''Ab Tum Ja Saktey Ho'' is a Pakistani television film directed by Mehreen Jabbar. It is based on a short story by Khadija Mastoor. It starred Khalida Riyasat, Sania Saeed and Humayun Saeed. The television film was released in 1996 and first broadcast on Pakistan Television Corporation. The telefilm is among the earliest works of the director, Jabbar. Plot Aliya is an unmarried school teacher who lives with her niece Raheela. Aliya is used to interfering in every aspect of Raheela's life to which the young girl feels trapped. But she doesn't dare to raise her voice against her. Things change completely for both of them when a relative of Aliya, Shaukat comes there to live. Khadija Mastoor
Khadija Mastoor ( ur, , translit=K͟hadījah Mastūr; 11 December 192725 July 1982) was a Pakistani short story writer and novelist who worked in Urdu literature. Her novel '' Aangan'' is widely considered a literary masterpiece in Urdu literature, which has also been made into a television drama. Her younger sister Hajra Masroor was also a short story writer while poet, playwright and newspaper columnist Khalid Ahmad was her younger brother. Early life Khadija Mastoor was born on 11 December 1927 in Bareilly, India. She migrated to Lahore with her family after the independence of Pakistan in 1947 and settled there. Literary career Mastoor started writing short stories in 1942 and continued writing till her death. Five books of her short stories and two novels have been published. Sania Saeed (born 28 August 1972) is a Pakistani actress and television host. Works mainly in television and theatre, Saeed is the recipient of numerous accolades including two PTV Awards, three Hum Awards and four Lux Style Awards.
