Ab Halim Tamuri
Ab Halim bin Tamuri (born 9 October 1967) is a Malaysian people, Malaysian politician, academic and lecturer who has served as Member of the Selangor State Legislative Assembly (MLA) for Paya Jaras (state constituency), Paya Jaras since August 2023. He is a member of the Malaysian Islamic Party (PAS), a component party of the Perikatan Nasional (PN) coalition. He has also served as the 16th State Commissioner of PAS of Selangor since October 2023. He served as the chairman of the Board of Directors of the TV Alhijrah (TVAH) from July 2022 to May 2023, Rector of the Selangor International Islamic University College (KUIS) from July 2013 to June 2021 and Member of the National Education Policy Review Committee (JKKDPN) from October 2018 to April 2019. The Malay language has a complex system of Style (manner of address), styles, titles and honorifics which are used extensively in Brunei, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, and the southern Philippines. 2023 Selangor State Election
The 15th Selangor state election were held on 12 August 2023 to elect the State Assembly members of the 15th Selangor State Legislative Assembly, the legislature of the Malaysian state of Selangor. Selangor is one of the states which did not dissolve simultaneously with Dewan Rakyat on 10 October 2022. It was decided by Pakatan Harapan on 15 October 2022. In the state election, the Barisan Nasional (BN)- Pakatan Harapan (PH) electoral pact won the election by capturing 34 of 56 seats, with PH winning 32 of those seats and BN winning 2 seats. Selangor State Legislative Assembly
The Selangor State Legislative Assembly ( ms, Dewan Negeri Selangor) is the unicameral state legislature of the Malaysian state of Selangor. The State Assembly is composed of 56 members representing single-member constituencies throughout the state. The National Alliance ( ms, Perikatan Nasional; abbrev: PN) is a political coalition composed of the Malaysian United Indigenous Party (BERSATU), Malaysian Islamic Party (PAS) and Parti Gerakan Rakyat Malaysia (GERAKAN).
