Pandiarajan is an Indian actor, director who has played leading roles in many humorous Tamil films and currently plays supporting and comedy roles. Personal life Pandiarajan was born to Sulochana in Saidapet, Chennai in a lower-middle-class family. He has two sisters, Maheshwari & Geetha. Pandiyan (5 January 1959 – 10 January 2008) was an Indian actor and politician who acted in lead roles in about 75 Tamil films from 1983 to 1992 and supporting roles from 1993 to 2001. Career Pandiyan was selling bangles in his family owned jewellery shop in Madurai, India when he was spotted by director Bharathiraja who offered him the lead role in the film ''Mann Vasanai'' (1983) which became a box-office hit. Following the success, Pandiyan was cast in over 75 films. Pandiyan joined the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) in 2001. Sasha Selvaraj, better known by her stage name Ranjini, is a Singaporean actress known for her roles in Tamil, Malayalam films. She also did few Telugu films. She was the leading actress from 1985 to 1992. Ranjini made her debut in the 1985 Tamil film ''Muthal Mariyathai'' directed by Bharathiraja. Vasudevan (15 June 1944 – 20 February 2011), known as Malaysia Vasudevan, was a Malaysian-Indian playback singer and actor in Tamil cinema. Early life Malaysia Vasudevan's parents were from Palakkad. Chattu Nair of Ottappalam and Ammalu of Polpulli, along with their families migrated to British Malaya in search of a livelihood. After a few years, Chattu Nair married Ammalu in an arranged marriage. Vasudevan was born on 15 June 1944 as their eighth and youngest child.
