Aatmiyulu
Aatmiyulu () is a 1969 Indian Telugu-language drama film, produced by D. Madhusudhana Rao under the Saradhi Studios banner and directed by V. Madhusudhana Rao. It stars Akkineni Nageswara Rao and Vanisree, with music composed by S. Rajeswara Rao. The film was remade in Tamil as ''Pennin Vaazhkai'' (1981). Plot The film begins in a village where Veerayya a trustworthy servant, sacrifices his life while guarding his owner Jagannadham, a wealthy landlord. Now Jagannadham makes arrangements for the maintenance of Veerayya's family and leaves for the city on the advice of his elder brother Barrister Raja Rao. Veerayya has a son Suryam, the daughter Seeta and their mother also died giving birth to a baby girl. Here Veerayya's sly sister Mahankaali sells the baby to a childless couple Chidambaram and Nancharamma and they rear her by the name Saroja. Yaddanapudi Sulochana Rani
Yaddanapudi Sulochana Rani (2 April 1940 – 18 May 2018) was an Indian Telugu language, Telugu language novelist. She had a strong fan following since the 1970s and early 1980s, especially among women. Several of her stories were made into films and television serials. She won two Nandi Awards. Early life and career Yaddanapudi Sulochana Rani was born on 2 April 1940 in a Telugu people, Telugu Niyogi Brahmin family at Kaza, Krishna district, Kaza in Krishna district, Andhra Pradesh. Saradhi Studios
Sri Sarathi Studios is a film studio facility located in Hyderabad, India. It was established in 1956 and was the first film studio facility built in Hyderabad. It was built by the Raja of Challapalli, Yarlagadda Sivarama Prasad. The first film shot in the studio was '' Maa Inti Mahalakshmi'' (1959). It was also the first Telugu film to be completely filmed in Hyderabad. Nagabhushanam (actor)
C. Nagabushanam (19 April 1921 – 5 May 1995) was an Indian actor known for his works in Telugu cinema and Telugu theatre. He acted in more than 350 films from the 1950s to the 1980s. He primarily acted in villain and character actor roles. Nagabushanam was a trendsetter in enacting comic villain characters. He was also known by the title “Natabhooshana” (). He acted in with more than 5000 shows of the play ''Raktha Kanneeru'' () due to which he also became known as “Raktha Kanneeru Nagabhushanam”. His first film was ''Palletooru'' (1952). Pithapuram Nageswara Rao
Pithapuram Nageswara Rao (5 May 1930 – 5 March 1996) was an Indian playback singer who worked in the early period of Telugu cinema. He sang thousands of songs, mostly of a comedic nature, in the 1950s and 1960s along with Madhavapeddi Satyam and others. He also sang for a couple of movies in Kannada. Suryakantham (28 October 1924 – 18 December 1994) was an Indian actress in Tollywood. She was popular for playing the role of a cruel mother-in-law in most of her movies. Early life Suryakantham was born and brought up in a Telugu Brahmin family residing at Venkata Krishnaraya Puram near Kakinada of East Godavari district in Andhra Pradesh. She was the 14th child to her parents, ten of whose children had died. She learnt dance and singing at the age of six. She married Peddibhotla Chalapati Rao, a High Court Judge, in 1950. Dhulipala Sitarama Sastry (24 September 1921 – 13 April 2007), known mononymously by the surname Dhulipala, was an Indian actor and thespian, known for his works predominantly in Telugu cinema. Arudra (born Bhagavatula Sadasiva Sankara Sastry; 31 August 1925 – 4 June 1998) was an Indian author, poet, lyricist, translator, publisher, dramatist, playwright, and an expert on Telugu literature.
