Aas Ka Panchhi
''Aas Ka Panchhi'' is a 1961 Hindi movie produced by J. Om Prakash. It was written by Mohan Kumar and Rajinder Singh Bedi and directed by Mohan Kumar. Story Rajan Khanna lives in a family of four including his father, mother and a younger sister. He is involved with his college mate Neena Bakshi. After graduation, he wants to join the military, but his father wants him to join the same office where he worked for many years. In the heat of the argument, father gets a heart attack and to make him happy Rajan joins the office. After a while, his father passes away and Rajan joins the army. Rajinder Singh Bedi
Rajinder Singh Bedi (1 September 1915 – 1984) was an Indian Urdu writer of the progressive writers' movement and a playwright, who later worked in Hindi cinema as a film director, screenwriter and dialogue writer and he is grandfather Rajat Bedi an Manek Bedi. As a screenwriter and dialogue writer, he is best known for Hrishikesh Mukherjee's films '' Abhimaan'', '' Anupama'' and ''Satyakam''; and Bimal Roy's ''Madhumati''. As a director he is known for '' Dastak'' (1970), starring Sanjeev Kumar and Rehana Sultan and ''Phagun'' (1973), starring Dharmendra, Waheeda Rehman, Jaya Bhaduri and Vijay Arora. Rajendra Kumar Tuli (20 July 1927 – 12 July 1999) was an Indian actor who starred in Bollywood films. Starting his career in 1949, he appeared in more than 80 films in a career spanning over four decades. Vyjayanthimala (born 13 August 1936) is a former Indian actress, dancer and parliamentarian. She is the recipient of several accolades, including two BFJA Awards and five Filmfare Awards. Leela Chitnis (''née'' Nagarkar; 9 September 1909 – 14 July 2003) was an Indian actress in the Indian film industry, active from 1930s to 1980s. In her early years she starred as a romantic lead, but she is best remembered for her later roles playing a virtuous and upright mother to leading stars. Early life She was born in a Marathi-speaking Brahmin family, in Dharwad, Karnataka. Her father was an English literature professor. She was one of the first educated film actresses. Nazir Hussain (15 May 1922 – 16 October 1987) was an Indian actor, director and screenwriter. He was famous as a character actor in Hindi cinema and acted in almost 500 films. Dev Anand starred in a large proportion of the films he acted in. Early life Nazir Hussain's father Shahabzad Khan was a guard in the Railways and Hussain grew up in Lucknow. He himself worked as a fireman in the railways for few months and soon joined the British army during World War II. He was posted in Malaysia and Singapore where he became a prisoner of war. Mukesh Chand Mathur (22 July 1923 – 27 August 1976), better known mononymously as Mukesh, was an Indian playback singer. Mukesh is considered to be one of the most popular and acclaimed playback singers of the Hindi film industry.
