Aaron Wheeler (soccer)
Aaron Wheeler (born May 11, 1988) is an American former professional soccer player. Career College and amateur Wheeler attended Patapsco High School in Dundalk, Maryland, who he led to the 2005 Baltimore County championship title, and played three years of college soccer at Lenoir-Rhyne University before transferring to Towson University prior to his senior year. At Lenoir-Rhyne he was a two-time NSCAA All-South Atlantic Region First Team selection and a three-time All-South Atlantic Conference First Team member. During his college years Wheeler also played for the Hampton Roads Piranhas and Reading Rage in the USL Premier Development League. He was the 2009 PDL Most Valuable Player, and led the league in scoring, recorded a goal or an assist in 13 of 17 regular season and playoffs matches, and finished the 2009 campaign with 17 regular season goals. Aaron Michael Wheeler (born September 24, 1998) is an American professional basketball player for Cholet Basket of LNB Pro A. He played college basketball for the Purdue Boilermakers men's basketball, Purdue Boilermakers and the St. John's Red Storm men's basketball, St. John's Red Storm. High school career Wheeler attended Brewster Academy in Wolfeboro, New Hampshire. He was considered a three-star recruit and was ranked 174th in his class by 247Sports. Aaron R. Wheeler is a Canadian chemist who is a professor of chemistry and biomedical engineering at the University of Toronto since 2005 with cross-appointment at Institute of Biomedical Engineering and Terrence Donnelly Centre for Cellular and Biomolecular Research. His academic laboratory is located at Lash Miller Chemical Laboratories and Terrence Donnelly Centre for Cellular and Biomolecular Research at the University of Toronto. In 2005, Wheeler was appointed as assistant professor and Tier II Canada Research Chair then promoted to associate professor in 2010, full professor in 2013, and in 2018 he became the Tier I Canada Research Chair in Microfluidic Bioanalysis.
