Aaron Shust
Aaron Michael Shust (born October 31, 1975) is an American contemporary Christian music artist formerly on the Brash Music and Centricity Music labels, and now on his own label. Shust was named the Songwriter of the Year at the GMA Dove Awards of 2007, and his song, "My Savior My God", received the Song of the Year award. Biography Shust was born in Chicago, Illinois and grew up near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He studied music theory at Toccoa Falls College in Georgia. While there, he studied Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Johann Sebastian Bach. He also became influenced by U2 and Bob Marley. He began performing at churches and coffeehouses while attending college. Shust began leading worship at Perimeter Church, Duluth, Georgia in 2000, and recorded his album, ''Anything Worth Saying'', in 2004 with producer, Dan Hannon, who delivered the album along with a stack of others to Brash Music for consideration. Dan Hannon is an American record producer, audio engineer, mixer, songwriter, and musician. He has produced, co-produced, co-written, and performed on albums that have sold over 4.5 million copies, that have been streamed over one billion times. His current Billboard chart success includes two number one albums, three number one songs, 13 top ten albums, 15 top twenty albums, three top ten rock albums, and four top ten alternative albums. Nathaniel Edward "Nathan" Nockels (born June 8, 1973) is an American singer-songwriter and worship leader, who is a producer, songwriter, and composer of sacred music. He has received seven GMA Dove Awards, for his production. Nockels and his wife, Christy, were members of the worship-duo, Watermark. A Dove Award is an accolade by the Gospel Music Association (GMA) of the United States to recognize outstanding achievement in the Christian music industry. The awards are presented annually. Formerly held in Nashville, Tennessee, the Dove Awards took place in Atlanta, Georgia during 2011 and 2012, but has since moved back to Nashville.
