Aaron Ross
Aaron Jermaine Ross (born September 15, 1982) is a former American football cornerback. He was drafted by the New York Giants in the first round of the 2007 NFL Draft. He won Super Bowl XLII and Super Bowl XLVI with the Giants, twice over the New England Patriots. He played college football at Texas, where he won the Jim Thorpe Award for the nation's top defensive back in 2006. Ross has also played for the Jacksonville Jaguars and Baltimore Ravens. Early years Ross attended John Tyler High School in Tyler, Texas, where he competed as quarterback, wide receiver and running back in his three-year career under coach Allen Wilson. He was named second-team Class 5A All-State after posting six interceptions, three fumble recoveries, three blocked kicks and allowing just one touchdown reception as a senior in 2001. Cornerback
A cornerback (CB) is a member of the defensive backfield or secondary in gridiron football. Cornerbacks cover receivers most of the time, but also blitz and defend against such offensive running plays as sweeps and reverses. They create turnovers through hard tackles, interceptions, and deflecting forward passes. Other members of the defensive backfield include strong and free safeties. The cornerback position requires speed, agility, strength, and the ability to make rapid sharp turns. A touchdown (abbreviated as TD) is a scoring play in gridiron football. Whether running, passing, returning a kickoff or punt, or recovering a turnover, a team scores a touchdown by advancing the ball into the opponent's end zone. Fox Technical High School is a public high school located in central San Antonio, Texas (USA) and classified as a 4A school by the UIL. Allen Wilson (American Football)
Allen Wilson (born 1951/1952) is a former American football coach. A highly successful high school coach, Wilson won two Texas state championships (1988, 1994) and amassed a 213–74–3 record. His teams are known for their smash-mouth running game. Wilson is a 1970 graduate of Robert E. Lee High School in Midland, Texas. He went on to play defensive back under coach Wally Bullington at Abilene Christian University in Abilene, Texas, where he was part of the 1973 football team which won the NAIA National Football Championship and Lone Star Conference title. After serving as a graduate assistant at Abilene Christian, Wilson became head coach at Paris High School in Paris, Texas.
