Aaron Long (animator)
Aaron Long (born March 1, 1990) is a Canadian animator and filmmaker. He is best known for his independent cartoons ''Sublo and Tangy Mustard'' and ''Fester Fish'' and for his work on the television series '' BoJack Horseman'' and ''Tuca & Bertie''. Long principally uses the software Adobe Flash and Adobe Photoshop to create his films. Long's work is strongly influenced by theatrical animation of the 1940s, particularly directors Bob Clampett, Tex Avery and Chuck Jones. In 2012, he began animating the short "Bakerman and the Bunnymen" for Sonic Bunny Productions. Since June 2013, he has resided in Los Angeles and worked at ShadowMachine directing key episodes of various TV series including '' TripTank'', ''BoJack Horseman'' and ''Tuca & Bertie''. In 2016, he was a key contributor to ''BoJack Horsemans "Fish Out of Water" episode. In 2017, he directed the episode "Time's Arrow". Aaron Ray Long (born October 12, 1992) is an American professional soccer player who plays as a center-back for Major League Soccer club Los Angeles FC and the United States national team. Born in Oak Hills, California, Long played four seasons of college soccer for the UC Riverside Highlanders before being drafted in the second round of the 2014 MLS SuperDraft by the Portland Timbers with the 36th overall pick. After loan spells with USL Pro clubs Sacramento Republic and Orange County Blues, Long was released by the Timbers and subsequently signed by rivals Seattle Sounders FC. Long was part of the Sounders organization for two seasons. After not making an appearance for the senior team, Long signed a contract with their reserve side, Seattle Sounders 2. He spent a season with Sounders 2 before joining the New York Red Bulls II in 2016.
