Aaron Kromer
Aaron Kromer (born April 30, 1967) is an American football coach who is the offensive line coach for the Buffalo Bills of the National Football League (NFL). Kromer served as the interim head coach of the New Orleans Saints for the first six games of the 2012 season. Playing career Kromer is a 1985 graduate of Margaretta High School in Castalia, Ohio, where he played football and basketball. He played offensive tackle for three seasons at Miami University from 1987 to 1989. Coaching career Kromer began his NFL coaching career in 2001 with the Oakland Raiders. In 2003, he helped lead the Raiders to an AFC championship and to Super Bowl XXXVII. Kromer was hired by the New Orleans Saints in 2008 as the running backs coach, before becoming the offensive line coach the following season. Castalia, Ohio
Castalia is a village in Erie County, Ohio, United States. The population was 852 at the 2010 census, down from 935 at the 2000 census. It is part of the Sandusky, Ohio Metropolitan Statistical Area. History By 1738 there was a Wyandot settlement at what is now Castalia under the leadership of Nicholas Orontony. Marc Trestman
Marc Marlyn Trestman (born January 15, 1956) is an American football and Canadian football coach. He led the Montreal Alouettes of the Canadian Football League (CFL) to back-to-back Grey Cup victories in 2009 and 2010, and another as head coach of the Toronto Argonauts in 2017. He was also named CFL Coach of the Year in 2009 and 2017. In addition, Trestman has served as a head coach, offensive coordinator and positions coach for a number of different teams, with the most notable of these tenures being a two-season stint as the head coach of the National Football League's Chicago Bears in 2013 and 2014. Joe Vitt (born August 23, 1954) is an American football coach who last coached for the New York Jets of the National Football League. He was previously the assistant head coach and linebackers coach of the New Orleans Saints of the National Football League (NFL). He was the interim head coach for the New Orleans Saints during the 2012 season and the St. Louis Rams for their last eleven games in 2005. Madden Most Valuable Protectors Award
The Madden Most Valuable Protectors Award was a trophy awarded annually to the best offensive line of the National Football League. The trophy, sponsored by Prilosec OTC, is named in honor of former NFL coach and commentator, John Madden. Designed and sculpted by artist Tom Tsuchiya, the award's shape is meant to evoke a castle wall with the figures of the five offensive line players representing battlements.
