Aaron Johnston is an American author, comics writer, and film producer. Johnston was an associate producer on the movie ''Ender's Game'', including a cameo appearance as an International Fleet officer. He co-authored with Orson Scott Card the First Formic War trilogy, a prequel series to ''Ender's Game''. The series includes ''Earth Unaware'', ''Earth Afire'', and ''Earth Awakens.'' His second pre Ender series includes ''The Swarm'' and ''The Hive''. These are concluded with the final tales of the second Formic war relayed in ''The Queens'', setting the stage for Orson Scott Card’s Enders Game series and the third Formic war. His comic credits for Marvel comics include ''Ender in Exile'', ''Speaker for the Dead'', ''Formic Wars'', ''League War'', and ''Mazer in Prison''. He is a writer for BYUtv's original series ''Extinct'' and provides the voice for Blue Drone in the series. His play Lifeloop is an adaptation of Orson Scott Card's short story. Aaron Johnston (basketball)
Aaron Johnston is an American basketball coach who has been the head women's basketball coach at South Dakota State University since 1999. Johnston has led the Jackrabbits to the NCAA Division II in 2003. South Dakota State Aaron Johnston started at South Dakota State working with the men's basketball team as a graduate assistant under then head coach Scott Nagy. He moved to the women's basketball team as an assistant coach under Nancy Neiber. During the 1999-2000 season, Neiber took a leave of absence and Johnston took over as interim for the final six games. During those six games, he went on to defeat the #2 ranked and eventual NCAA D-II Runner up; North Dakota State. Johnston became head coach of the Jackrabbits on June 30, 2000, making him the seventh head coach in SDSU women's basketball era. Aaron Johnston (born 2 February 1995) is an Irish rallying co-driver. He is currently partnered with Takamoto Katsuta for Toyota Gazoo Racing WRT in the World Rally Championship . Rally career Johnston's rally career began at the age of sixteen. At the 2019 Wales Rally GB, he made his WRC debut by co-driving with Oliver Solberg in a Volkswagen Polo GTI R5 in the WRC-2 category. Both Johnston and Solberg were signed by Hyundai Motorsport to compete for the 2021 World Rally Championship-2. On 16 September 2021 he and Solberg announce their split after 3 years of collaboration. Aaron Douglas Johnston is an American filmmaker who is based in the Netherlands. He is known for the films '' Bumblefuck, USA'', and '' My Sister's Quinceañera''. Both films focus on outsider themes and mixup the boundary between documentary and fiction through his use of non-professional actors. He has used community funding to provide the small budgets for his films. Biography Johnston was born in 1978 and raised in Muscatine, Iowa. He studied sociology at Oxford and Yale before finding his way into filmmaking in the Netherlands. In Amsterdam, he studied directing at the Netherlands Film and Television Academy, where he made the Sundance-selected short ''Today and Tomorrow'', a drama made with and about political asylum seekers living in the Netherlands''.''
