Aaron Cox
Aaron Cox (born March 13, 1965) is a former American football wide receiver. He played professionally in the National Football League (NFL) for the Los Angeles Rams and the Indianapolis Colts. Early life Cox was born in Los Angeles, California and graduated from Susan Miller Dorsey High School. He attended Arizona State University. He was a highly productive receiver in college, finishing his career with 2,353 yards. *1985: 40 catches for 788 yards with 5 TD. *1986: 35 catches for 695 yards with 2 TD. *1987: 42 catches for 870 yards with 5 TD. Professional career Cox was drafted by the Los Angeles Rams in the first round of the 1988 NFL Draft. He played professionally for six seasons. NFL Draft
The National Football League Draft, also called the NFL Draft or (officially) the Player Selection Meeting, is an annual event which serves as the league's most common source of player recruitment. Each team is given a position in the drafting order in reverse order relative to its record in the previous year, which means that the last place team is positioned first and the Super Bowl champion is last. The Buffalo Bills are a professional American football team based in the Buffalo metropolitan area. The Bills compete in the National Football League (NFL) as a member club of the league's American Football Conference (AFC) East division. The team plays its home games at Highmark Stadium in Orchard Park, New York. Founded in 1960 as a charter member of the American Football League (AFL), they joined the NFL in 1970 following the AFL–NFL merger. Cornelius Bennett
Cornelius O'Landa Bennett (born August 25, 1965) is an American former professional football player who was a linebacker in the National Football League (NFL). He played for the Buffalo Bills from 1987 to 1995, Atlanta Falcons from 1996 to 1998, and the Indianapolis Colts from 1999 to 2000. Bennett was a five-time Pro Bowler, being elected in 1988, and 1990–1993, and won the AFC Defensive Player of the Year award twice (1988 and 1991). Early years Bennett was born in Birmingham, Alabama. He played halfback and several other positions while attending Ensley High School in Birmingham. Bennett was an excellent basketball and baseball player during his high school career. The 1988 NFL draft was the procedure by which National Football League teams selected amateur college football players. It is officially known as the NFL Annual Player Selection Meeting. The draft was held April 24–25, 1988, at the Marriot Marquis in New York City, New York. The league also held a supplemental draft after the regular draft and before the regular season. With the first overall pick of the draft, the Atlanta Falcons selected linebacker Aundray Bruce.
