Aaron Abeyta
Aaron Abeyta (born August 8, 1965), better known as El Hefe or simply Hefe, from ''el Jefe'' (Spanish for "the boss"), is an American musician and actor, best known as the lead guitarist and trumpet player for the California punk band NOFX. He started playing guitar at the age of 13, but he states that he started taking it seriously at the age of 15, joining his first band. He joined NOFX in 1991 and his first recording with the band was his contribution to their EP ''The Longest Line''. Abeyta was given his nickname by NOFX founder Fat Mike because at the time when Abeyta joined the band, Fat Mike was dating a girl named Erin and he didn't want there to be any confusion. El Hefe once owned a nightclub called "Hefe's" in Eureka, California, and now lives in Stevenson Ranch, California. He has two children and is divorced from Jennifer Abeyta. The Decline (EP)
''The Decline'' is an EP by NOFX. It was released on November 23, 1999. The CD version consisted of only the 18-minute title track, but the vinyl included a different version of "Clams Have Feelings Too" (from ''Pump Up the Valuum'') on the B-side. ''The Decline'' is largely a satire of American politics and law, with an overwhelming concern for blind behaviors of the masses, such as complacency, indifference, gun violence, drug-use, and conformity, as well as destruction of constitutional rights, and condemnation of the religious right. Although the lyrics are somewhat disjointed, they all refer back to the unifying theme of the "decline" of America. The trombone is played by Lars Nylander of Skankin' Pickle. According to the band, The first 155 copies were pressed on clear vinyl, a version which is no longer available. The first 1 min and 20 seconds of a live version of ''The Decline'' is played as an encore after "Stickin' In My Eye" on ''They've Actually Gotten Worse ...

Single Album
''Single Album'' is the fourteenth studio album by the American punk rock band NOFX, released on February 26, 2021. It is the band's first studio album in nearly five years, since 2016’s '' First Ditch Effort'', marking the longest gap between two NOFX studio albums; between 2016 and 2021, however, the band did release a series of one-off singles and a split album '' West Coast vs. Wessex'' (2020), which saw NOFX cover five Frank Turner songs. The album was originally going to be released as a double album, but the COVID-19 pandemic prompted the band to release just a single album, hence the title. Fat Mike has further elaborated that the intended second disc of the album didn't receive positive feedback and thus it was scrapped. Overview "Fish in a Gunbarrel" was initially released digitally in 2019, whereas "I Love You More Than I Hate Me" and "Doors and Fours"—along with other songs that did not make the album—were released sporadically throughout 2020 as a reaction to C ...

Self Entitled
''Self Entitled'' is the twelfth studio album by the American punk rock band NOFX. It was released on September 11, 2012 through Fat Wreck Chords. Background and production The album took more than a year to materialize. Vocalist and bassist Fat Mike revealed to ''The Daily Times'' in January 2011 that a follow-up to ''Coaster'' was in production, explaining "There are some really good songs on ''Coaster'', but after having written 300 songs, I feel lucky I came up with them. That's why there are songs on there about Iron Maiden and Tegan and Sara. I'm reaching, man. Sometimes I grab stuff just to grab stuff, and I'm going in a lot of different directions." In December of that year, Fat Mike revealed to ''Phoenix New Times'' that he had begun work on a new NOFX album and a soundtrack to a "fetish film" called ''Rubber Bordello''. On February 14, 2012, Fat Mike revealed to ''Rolling Stone'' that NOFX was going to begin recording their twelfth studio album in April and added, "I ...

NOFX (2011 EP)
''NOFX'' is an EP by the American punk rock band NOFX, released August 2, 2011, through Fat Wreck Chords and consisting almost entirely of cover versions of hardcore punk songs. The idea for the EP was originally announced in 2009—before the release of the group's eleventh studio album ''Coaster''—and was originally announced to be released exclusively as a 10" vinyl record. The EP was also made available in 7", 12", and picture disc formats, all containing the same track listing. Track listing The EP features eight cover versions of songs that were originally written by "rather obscure American hardcore bands" from the 1980s. The album's packaging does not list any song titles or writing credits. In various interviews, NOFX frontman Fat Mike suggested that the album would include songs by Necros, Social Unrest, Stretch Marks, and Rebel Truth. One of the songs is an original NOFX composition. 1 - Friend Or Foe (Agnostic Front cover) - 1:07 2 - IQ32 (Necros cover) - 0:24 ...

They've Actually Gotten Worse Live!
''They've Actually Gotten Worse Live!'' is a live album by punk rock band NOFX. The album is their second live recording, following their 1995 album ''I Heard They Suck Live!!'' On September 26, 2007, the band posted a bulletin from their MySpace profile with the following regarding the album: "Ever done something you regret while drunk? I know, I know… so embarrassing right? Ever woken up and rubbed your pounding skull and said, “What did I do last night?” Oh man…you should have seen yourself… first… you got totally blitzed and then… then… this is the best part… YOU RECORDED A LIVE RECORD! That’s right, back in January, NOFX booked 3 nights of talking mixed with the occasional song at Slim’s in San Francisco and recorded a live record. It’s their sloppiest, drunkest, funniest, best sounding recording ever with new versions of old songs, rare songs and they even made sure not to play any songs off their 1995 live album ''I Heard They Suck Live!!''. ''Th ...
