Vasile Aaron (; 1770—1822) was an ethnic Romanian lawyer and poet who lived in the Austrian Empire. Born in Glogoveț, Alba County, he attended high school in Blaj, followed by Law studies in Cluj. Moving to Sibiu to work as a lawyer, he became known for taking on cases where he defended Romanians. He earned even greater renown thanks to his popular poetry. Tommie Lee Aaron (August 5, 1939 – August 16, 1984) was an American professional baseball player and coach. He played as a first baseman and left fielder in Major League Baseball. Teodor Aaron (or Aron) (1803 – February 6, 1867) was a Romanian Greek Catholic clergyman and historian. He was born in the village of Cikendál, Transylvania, now Țichindeal, Romania. He studied at the Greek Catholic Church in Bihar County, and graduated from Central Seminary in Budapest in 1828. Aaron was ordained on October 30, 1829. Soazig Aaron (born 1949, Rennes) is a French author. Biography After studying history, Soazig Aaron worked for a few years in a bookshop in Paris. Today, she lives in Rennes in Brittany. Sam Aaron (October 7, 1911 – July 21, 1996) was a wine merchant and co-founder, with his brother Jack, of Sherry-Lehmann Wines and Spirits. At the end of Prohibition in 1934, Jack Aaron purchased the liquor store in the old Louis Sherry building. He and Sam set about recreating the shop with Sam shifting the emphasis to wine, having been influenced by a meeting with the writer and wine importer, Frank Schoonmaker.
