Aalto University Sports Club, AaltoUS, ( Finnish ''Aalto-yliopiston urheiluseura''), formerly known as ''Polyteknikkojen urheiluseura'' (‘Polytechnics Sports Club’) or PUS, is a Finnish sports club founded in Helsinki in 1903. The club was the sports club of the Helsinki University of Technology, but as of 29 March 2010, the name has been ''Aalto-yliopiston urheiluseura'', reflecting the merger of the Helsinki University of Technology, the Helsinki School of Economics, and the University of Art and Design Helsinki into what is now the Aalto University. Pus is an exudate, typically white-yellow, yellow, or yellow-brown, formed at the site of inflammation during bacterial or fungal infection. Bandy is a winter sport and ball sport played by two teams wearing ice skates on a large ice surface (either indoors or outdoors) while using sticks to direct a ball into the opposing team's goal. The international governing body for bandy is the Federation of International Bandy (FIB). The playing surface, called a bandy field or bandy rink, is a sheet of ice which measures 90–110 meters by 45–65 meters – about the size of a football pitch. Finnish bandy champion is the title given to the team winning the play-off at the end of Bandyliiga, the highest bandy league in Finland. Bandy was the first team sport, for which a Finnish championship was contested. This was in early 1908 (while the first Finnish championship in association football were played later the same year). Futsal
Futsal is a football-based game played on a hardcourt, hard court smaller than a football pitch, and mainly indoors. It has similarities to five-a-side football and Indoor soccer, indoor football. Futsal is played between two teams of five players each, one of whom is the goalkeeper. Unlimited substitutions are permitted.
