Aagot Børseth
Aagot Børseth (29 November 1898 – 19 December 1993) was a Norwegian actress. Biography Aagot Tangen was born in Kristiania (now Oslo), Norway. She made her debut at Rogaland Teater in Stavanger during 1918 as Grete in ''Faddergaven'' by Peter Egge (1869-1959). Later she came to Chat Noir, where she noted herself as the street girl Gusti in ''Flammen''. She came to the Nationaltheatret in 1928 and performed there for 40 years. She made her film debut in ''Felix'' (1921) and participated in numerous Norwegian films including ''Frestelse'' (1940) and ''Selkvinnen'' (1953). She was also a widely used actor on Radioteatret and on television. She was married to Henrik Børseth (1885–1970), who was also an actor at the Nationaltheatret. She died in 1993 and was buried at Vestre gravlund in Oslo. Aagot Didriksen (3 July 1874 – 19 March 1968) was a Norwegian theatre and film actress of the 1930s. She was born in Kristiansand, Norway. She debuted on 24 October 1899 in the Royal Danish Theatre of Copenhagen and made over 150 appearances on stage until 1942 when she retired. She also worked under the direction of Tancred Ibsen in the films ''Vi som gÃ¥r kjøkkenveien'' (1933), ''Den store barnedÃ¥pen'' (1932), ''Fant'' (1937), and ''Tørres Snørtevold ''Tørres Snørtevold'' is a 1940 in film, 1940 Norway, Norwegian comedy film directed by Tancred Ibsen. Aagot Henny Lading née Petersen (5 July 1909, Aarhus—15 July 1963, Copenhagen) was a Danish schoolteacher, headmistress and women's rights activist. After graduating in English and history, she was a prominent member of the Danish Women's Society (Dansk Kvindesamfund, DK) where she edited ''Kvinden & Samfundet''. In 1950, she became principal of Rysensteen Gymnasium where she emphasized women's history in the school's history lessons. Despite her efforts to maintain its status as a girls school, new regulations required the school to admnit boys in 1958. Aagot Nissen
Aagot Nissen (née Kavli; May 2, 1882 – December 16, 1978) was a Norwegian actress. Biography She was born in Bergen, Norway. She was the daughter of Kristoffer Kavli (1845–1888) and Agnes Texnes (1851–1937). She was the sister of painter Arne Kavli (1878–1970) and was married to pianist Karl Nissen (1879–1920). She made her stage debut in 1899 at Oslo's National Theatre. She worked continuously for the National Theatre until she retired in 1950. She was the only actor that worked continuously for more than fifty seasons at the National Theatre from its start in 1899. According to historian Nils Johan Ringdal, Nissen was the most employed actress at the National Theatre from the theatre's establishment, with a total of more than 200 assigned tasks. Aagot Norman (29 July 1892 – 22 February 1979) was a Norwegian swimmer. She set two Norwegian records in 100m freestyle at the short course and she attended the 100m freestyle during the 1912 Summer Olympics. This was the first time swimming was on the program for women. She did not finish during the first round. Aagot Raaen
Aagot Raaen (December 3, 1873 - January 7, 1957) was an American author and educator. Background Raaen was one of five children born to Thomas T. Raaen (1827-1903) and Ragnhild (Rodningen) Raaen (1839-1923), who were immigrants from Norway. In June 1874, the family had moved to Dakota Territory settling near Hatton, North Dakota. Thomas Raaen homesteaded 160 acres of land in Newburgh Township (now in Steele County, North Dakota). Aagot Raaen put herself through school and college. In 1903, Raaen graduated from the Mayville State Normal School, now Mayville State University. In 1913, she graduated from the University of Minnesota. She later did graduate work at universities in Berlin and Hawaii.
