''A Tale of Two Mozzies'' ( da, Cykelmyggen og dansemyggen) is a 2007 Danish animated children's film directed by Jannik Hastrup and Flemming Quist Møller, from a screenplay by Møller. Produced by Marie Bro of Dansk Tegnefilm, ''A Tale of Two Mozzies'' was based on the eponymous series of children's books by Møller. Hastrup and Møller previously directed the 1971 film ''Benny's Bathtub''. ''A Tale of Two Mozzies'' was released in Danish cinemas on 8 June 2007 by Nordisk Film Distribution. It was followed by a second film based on Møller's books in 2014, entitled ''Mini and the Mozzies''. Premise Dagmar, a dancing mosquito, is in love with mosquito Egon, however Egon is too busy achieving the ultimate sprint on his bicycle and wants to see the world. Jannik Hastrup
Jannik Hastrup (born 4 May 1941 in Næstved, Denmark) is a Danish writer, director, producer, illustrator and animator. He is considered "Denmark's grand master of animation", as he is particularly well known for directing, animating and writing several animated films, occasionally with Flemming Quist Møller, including '' Benny's Bathtub'', ', '' Samson & Sally'', '' War of the Birds'', ''The Monkey's and the Secret Weapon'', ' and '' A Tale of Two Mozzies''. He also directed, wrote and animated a number of shorts following Cirkeline the elf. Politics Jannik Hastrup was involved in films with socialist and social realism themes. Jesper Klein
Jesper Klein (13 November 1944 – 22 August 2011) was a Danish actor. He appeared in over 80 films and television shows since 1968. He starred in the 1969 film ''Ballad of Carl-Henning'', which was entered into the 19th Berlin International Film Festival. Klein received the 1984Robert Award for Best Actor in a Leading Role for his role in Nils Malmros' ''Beauty and the Beast''. From 1970 to 2006 he was married to Lykke Nielsen, they have a son Sebastian. Lykke died in 2006. Jesper Klein died on August 22, 2011 after a short battle with cancer at the age of 66. Kim Mellius Flyvholm Larsen (23 October 1945 – 30 September 2018) was a Danish rock and pop musician. He was a major selling Scandinavian act with over 5 million albums sold. Career Kim Larsen was born in Copenhagen. Inspired by The Beatles and rock and roll, he began as a songwriter and guitarist. Ditte Gråbøl (born 22 June 1959 in Copenhagen) is a Danish actress. She trained at Aarhus Teater and graduated in 1984. Having worked at Jomfru Ane Teatret, she has appeared in a number of revues, among others the Cirkusrevyen more than once. She has also appeared on TV in ''Flemming og Berit'', ''Fæhår og Harzen'', ''Bryggeren'', ''Krøniken'', ''The Eagle (TV series), The Eagle'' and ''Album (TV series), Album''. Kaya Brüel (born 30 August 1972) is a Danish singer, songwriter and actress. As an 18-year-old, Brüel signed a contract with the record company Replay Records. Brüel received an advance of DKK 20,000 in exchange for releasing three albums on the company.
