Sheridan Caroline Sian Smith OBE (born 25 June 1981) is an English actress, singer and television personality. Contemporary R&B
Contemporary R&B (or simply R&B) is a popular music genre that combines rhythm and blues with elements of pop, soul, funk, hip hop, and electronic music. ''Sheridan'' is the debut studio album by English singer and actress Sheridan Smith. It was released by East West on 3 November 2017, and debuted at number nine on the UK Albums Chart. Details of the album were first announced in August 2017, with Smith subsequently confirming ''Sheridan'' as its title in October. To coincide with its release, she appeared in a one-off television special for ITV, also titled ''Sheridan'', in which she chatted to comedian Alexander Armstrong and performed tracks from the album. The Official Albums Chart is a list of albums ranked by physical and digital sales and (from March 2015) audio streaming in the United Kingdom. It was published for the first time on 22 July 1956 and is compiled every week by the Official Charts Company (OCC) on Fridays (previously Sundays). It is broadcast on BBC Radio 1 (top 5) and found on the OCC website as a Top 100 or on UKChartsPlus as a Top 200, with positions continuing until all sales have been tracked in data only available to industry insiders. However, even though number 100 was classed as a hit album (as in the case of The Guinness Book of British Hit Albums) in the 1980s until January 1989, since the compilations were removed this definition was changed to Top 75 with follow-up books such as The Virgin Book of British Hit Albums book only including this data. Howie Payne (born Howard Elliot Payne 5 November 1970) is an English musician, singer-songwriter and record producer, formerly of the Stands. Following the Stands' split, Payne embarked on a solo career under the name Howard Eliott Payne and released his debut album '' Bright Light Ballads'' in 2009. Amy Victoria Wadge (born ) is an English singer and songwriter. She has co-written tracks with Ed Sheeran, including "Thinking Out Loud" for which she won the 2016 Grammy Award for Song of the Year. Francis Anthony "Eg" White (born 22 November 1966) is a British musician, songwriter and producer. He started his career in the cowpunk band Yip Yip Coyote in the 1980s and then formed Brother Beyond with his brother, David White, in the late 1980s.
