A New Nightmare
''A New Nightmare'' is the first mixtape (or extended play) by American hip hop duo Twiztid, and is their 11th major release overall. It was self-released on July 30, 2013, marking the group's first project since leaving Psychopathic Records in December 2012. First released on the group's official website store, it was released nationwide on September 3, 2013, and re-released on November 20, 2018 via Majik Ninja Entertainment. Recording sessions took place at "The Disc". Production was handled by Michael "Seven" Summers, Eric Davie, and the Dead Beatz. Twiztid
Twiztid is an American hip hop duo from Detroit, Michigan, known for both their horror-themed lyrics and rock influenced sound. Formed in 1997, Twiztid is composed of rappers Jamie "Madrox" Spaniolo and Paul "Monoxide" Methric. Spaniolo and Methric are also members of the group House of Krazees with Bryan "The R.O.C." Jones, which formed in 1992. Twiztid released their debut album, ''Mostasteless'', in 1998. Since then, they have released 16 full-length studio albums, 14 extended plays, 17 compilation albums, two mixtapes, and numerous singles. Paul Robert Methric (born July 14, 1973) is an American rapper and producer from Detroit, Michigan, also known as Monoxide of the rap group Twiztid. Early life Paul Methric began rapping as a teenager while he was in high school and listened to Bon Jovi for inspiration of lyrics he said. In school, Methric and friend Jamie Spaniolo would freestyle with other kids, though the two felt they were never great at promptly coming up with rhymes. Both recall going to school with late-rapper Proof and seeing him freestyle, describing him as "the mecca of freestyling". Methric and Spaniolo also watched freestyle battles at the Hip Hop Shop on a weekly basis. Benjamin Miller (born 5 May 1983), better known by his stage name Wrekonize, is an American underground rapper and current member of Miami band ¡Mayday!. He is currently signed to the record label Mayday Music, after previously being signed to Tech N9ne's Strange Music. Early life Benjamin Miller was born in London and raised in a household of both British and African descent.
