A Monument To The Death Of An Idea
''A Monument to the Death of an Idea'' is an Extended play, EP by the band Enochian Theory. History In June 2006, Enochian Theory entered The Old Blacksmiths Studios in Portsmouth, with Emmy nominated producer and engineer Rich Tamblyn and began to record the tracks for their second record, entitled ''A Monument to the Death of an Idea''. The band had written several new songs since the release of the Our Lengthening Shadows EP and had chosen to completely rework two of the songs from that EP for inclusion on the new recording. After lengthy rehearsals and last minute musical changes, the EP's five tracks were recorded, mixed and co-produced by the band in four days. The artwork for the CD was finalised in August, with the concept and realisation entirely created by the band themselves. Enochian Theory
Enochian Theory is an English Rock Music, rock/Heavy metal music, metal/progressive rock band, formed in 2004 in Portsmouth, Hampshire, England. The original lineup of the band consisted of drummer Sam Street, bass guitarist Shaun Rayment, guitarist Scott Ware, and singer/guitarist/keyboard player Ben Harris Hayes. Enochian Theory Formation The band members met through their individual involvements in the south coast of England local music scene Drummer Sam Street, bass guitarist Shaun Rayment and guitarist Scott Ware came together to start jamming after meeting in school. In September 2004, Ben Harris-Hayes came to audition for the band after being handed an advert/flyer for the band by his sister and impressed them with his vocals and songwriting ability. ''Black Velvet'' is a quarterly independent rock magazine based in the UK. The zine was founded in 1994 and is published/edited by Shari Black Velvet. The zine includes in-depth interviews, concert reviews, album reviews and more. Sugarcult's Marko 72 also wrote a regular column for a while although now a different musician writes a column each issue. The zine changed from a printed mag to a free online mag in 2014.
