A Matter Of Time (Jason Sellers Album)
''A Matter of Time'' is the second and final studio album by American country music artist Jason Sellers. Its title track was a Top 40 hit for him on the ''Billboard'' Hot Country Songs charts in 1999. One day after the album's release, Sellers exited BNA Records' roster. Content The track "That's Not Her Picture" was later recorded by John Michael Montgomery on his 2000 album '' Brand New Me'', while "Bad Case of Missing You" would later be recorded by The Oak Ridge Boys on their 2004 album ''The Journey'', from which it was released as a single. "Every Fire" was originally recorded by Shenandoah on its 1994 album ''In the Vicinity of the Heart''. "Golden Ring" is a cover version of the George Jones and Tammy Wynette duet that went to Number One in 1976. Critical reception Philip van Vleck of Allmusic gave the album four-and-a-half stars out of five, saying "It's the uptempo tracks that have made this project an effort that supersedes his first album in every aspect." Jason Sellers
Jason Sellers (born March 4, 1971) is an American country music artist. After several years of touring the United States in his family's band, Sellers joined the road band of Ricky Skaggs. By 1997, he was signed to a recording contract with BNA Records, for whom he recorded two studio albums: 1997's '' I'm Your Man'' and 1999's '' A Matter of Time''. These two albums produced five singles on the ''Billboard'' Hot Country Singles & Tracks (now Hot Country Songs) charts; each album's title track reached Top 40 on that chart. Bouzouki
The bouzouki (, also ; el, μπουζούκι ; alt. pl. ''bouzoukia'', from Greek ), also spelled buzuki or buzuci, is a musical instrument popular in Greece. It is a member of the long-necked lute family, with a round body with a flat top and a long neck with a fretted fingerboard. It has steel strings and is played with a plectrum producing a sharp metallic sound, reminiscent of a mandolin but pitched lower. Alan Gordon Anderson (born July 26, 1947) is an American guitarist, singer, and songwriter. In the 1960s, Anderson was the frontman of the band The Wildweeds, which had success with the song "No Good To Cry", which he wrote. Between 1971 and the early 1990s, he was the lead guitarist in the rock band NRBQ, also releasing several solo albums. Gary Burr, born in Meriden, Connecticut, is an American musician, songwriter, and record producer, primarily in the country music genre. Many of the songs he has written have become Top-10 hits, the first of which was " Love's Been A Little Bit Hard On Me" released by Juice Newton (#7 on Billboard's Hot 100) in 1982. James William Anderson III (born November 1, 1937), known professionally as Bill Anderson, is an American country music singer, songwriter, and television host. His soft-spoken singing voice was given the nickname "Whispering Bill" by music critics and writers. She is the daughter of country music singer Mel Tillis and ex-wife of songwriter Bob DiPiero.
