Dominik Graf
Dominik Graf (born 6 September 1952) is a German film director. He studied film direction at University of Television and Film Munich, from where he graduated in 1975. While he has directed several theatrically released feature films since the 1980s, he more often finds work in television, focussing primarily on the genres police drama, thriller and crime mystery, although he has also made comedies, melodramas, documentaries and essay films. He is an active participant in public discourse about the values of genre film in Germany, through numerous articles, and interviews, some of which have been collected into a book. Graf achieved international recognition in 2014 with his film ''Beloved Sisters'', which was selected as the German entry for the Best Foreign Language Film at the 87th Academy Awards, but was not nominated. Karoline Eichhorn (born 9 November 1965) is a German stage, film, television, and voice actor. Life and career Eichhorn went to a Waldorf school in Stuttgart, graduated in 1986, and then attended the Folkwang University of the Arts in Essen until 1989. From 1989 until 1995, she held engagements at Schaubühne and Schauspielhaus Bochum theaters. Starting in 2017, Eichhorn starred as Charlotte Doppler in the ensemble cast of the acclaimed Netflix production ''Dark''. She became known to movie audiences in 1995 in the films ' and '. In the latter, she plays a journalist who as part of her research, spies on a shady crime writer played by Götz George. The Berlin International Film Festival (german: Internationale Filmfestspiele Berlin), usually called the Berlinale (), is a major international film festival held annually in Berlin, Germany. Peter Lohmeyer (born 22 January 1962 in Niedermarsberg) is a German actor. He has appeared in more than one hundred films since 1980. Life and career Lohmeyer is the youngest of three children of the Protestant pastor Dieter Lohmeyer and his wife. Due to his father's profession, he completed his school education at various places. From 1972-1974 he attended the Albrecht-Dürer-Gymnasium in Hagen, the Eberhard-Ludwigs-Gymnasium in Stuttgart from 1974-1976, and the Stadtgymnasium Dortmund from 1976-1981. From 1982 to 1984 he received acting lessons at the Westfälische Schauspielschule in Bochum, but left without graduating. Lohmeyer made his stage debut in the play called ''Was heißt hier Liebe'' at the Schauspielhaus Bochum.
