''A Holiday with Piroschka'' (german: Ferien mit Piroschka) is a 1965 comedy film directed by Franz Josef Gottlieb and starring Marie Versini, Götz George, and Dietmar Schönherr. It was a co-production between Austria, Hungary and West Germany. Despite their similar names, the film has little in common with the 1955 ''I Often Think of Piroschka''. Franz Josef Gottlieb
Franz Josef Gottlieb (1 November 1930 – 23 July 2006) was an Austrian film director and screenwriter. He directed 60 films between 1959 and 2005. He also directed the children's series ''Ravioli (TV series), Ravioli'' in 1983; it aired on ZDF in 1984. He was born in Semmering, Austria and died in Verden an der Aller, Germany of a brain tumor, at age 75. Hilda Gobbi
Hilda Emília Gizella Gobbi (6 June 1913 – 13 July 1988) was an award-winning Hungarian actress, known for her portrayals of elderly women. One of her most beloved performances was as Aunt Szabo in the radio soap opera ''The Szabo Family''. A resistance member during World War II, she attempted to facilitate the reconstruction of the National Theatre by sponsoring a fundraising drive. János Görbe born as Görbe János (November 12, 1912, Jászárokszállás - September 5, 1968, Budapest) was a prominent Hungarian actor of film and theater. He was the father of actress Nóra Görbe, star of the popular 80's TV series, "Linda". István Bujtor (5 May 1942 – 25 September 2009), born István Frenreisz, was a Hungarian actor, director, producer and screenplay writer. He starred in the TV mini-series Mathias Sandorf based on the novel Mathias Sandorf by Jules Verne as ''Mathias Sandorf'' in 1979. Biography Bujtor started his acting career in 1964, and played in more than a hundred Hungarian films. He won the Béla Balázs Award in 1979.
